Food for Thought: FDA Takes Step to Reduce Risk

Today the FDA introduced the Reportable Food Registry (RFR), which requires food manufacturers and processors to report – via a Web portal – a “reasonable probability that an article of food will cause severe health problems or death to a person or an animal.”  Pharma specialist Mark Senak offers insight into the RFR, which he suggests is just “one step in a much longer journey.”
