NEW YORK, March 12, 2010 — Fleishman-Hillard grabbed two wins at this year’s PRWeek awards ceremony, held in New York last night. The agency won “Public Affairs Campaign of the Year” for its work with the Fix Housing First Coalition, and “Nonprofit Campaign of the Year” on behalf of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Fix Housing First successfully used new media to promote the inclusion of a homebuyer tax credit in the federal stimulus bill. Fleishman-Hillard’s nonprofit campaign for St. Baldrick’s Foundation, “Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids’ Cancer,” generated awareness and funding for childhood cancer research. Both winning campaigns were finalists for “Campaign of the Year.”
The agency also received honorable mention in two other categories: “Employee Communications Campaign of the Year” for Novartis Oncology and “Healthcare Campaign of the Year” for MedImmune.
