A lot of innovation comes from exploring and asking questions, but not knowing the answers. As Einstein said, “if we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?”

Throughout history, innovation has come from asking this question: “How might we explore what's possible and valuable?”

But in this economy, people are focused on the answers to questions like “How might we make money now?”
