Position Overview and Responsibilities:
Our Brand Marketing practice is looking for a motivating, energetic, self-starting Managing Supervisor to join our New York office. This position provides the opportunity to work on a variety of accounts primarily handling day-to-day account management, leading integrated marketing campaigns, managing client relationships and producing high-quality written material.
Responsibilities will include:
• The Managing Supervisor will hold the following responsibilities:
• Provide proactive, seasoned client counsel and creative recommendations on how to meet consumer marketing goals through online and offline strategic communications.
• Develop and provide direction for client and media materials: plans, presentations, reports, and communications documents.
• Develop and execute high-quality media programs from conception to placement.
• Manage projects and balance staff workload.
• Develop and manage budgets, direct strategic planning and ensure profitability.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience providing public relations counsel to clients.
• Depth of well-rounded experience in the consumer practice area, with proven success working across a variety of accounts.
• Digitally savvy, with strong experience in developing digital and social media strategies, and creating and executing seamlessly integrated programs and campaigns that align with client objectives
• Strong capabilities in media relations, from strategy development to generating results.
• Agency and big consumer brand experience is a must.
Skilled Communicator
• Develop and edit high quality written materials and illustrate strong presentation skills.
• Demonstrated experience executing public relations plans within budget.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing large events.
• Meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Maintain good client relationships and deliver outstanding results.
Strategic Thinker
• Ability to apply an international perspective for a global account.
• The ability to develop creative recommendations and media strategies, including digital and social media recommendations.
• Ability to recommend best practices for integrating and executing digital and social media strategies that are relevant to client needs and objectives.
Business Driver
• Ability to lead internal planning meetings and brainstorm sessions; exercise excellent judgment with the ability to think ‘out of the box.
• Proven ability to contribute to compelling new business proposals and present them effectively and persuasively.
Team Motivator
• Experience leading and managing staff members.
• Ability to work well within a team environment, have lots of fun and roll with the punches.
