Fleishman-Hillard has an immediate opening for a Client Relationship Manager to join our growing Corporate and Financial Communications practice in Singapore. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced PR professional who seeks an opportunity to serve as the lead Client Relationship Manager on one of the top five global accounts for the firm. This person will work closely with our regional headquarters in Hong Kong, and have the opportunity to engage with FH counselors around the globe.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced counselor having 7-12 years of experience in corporate and financial communications with a public relations agency. This individual will have a record of winning and growing client relationships that includes creating and executing programs for clients. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to work collaboratively to serve clients at many levels of corporate leadership – e.g., CEOs, CFOs, chief communicators, general counsels, and others.
The candidate’s experience must include management of programs targeting specific audiences and communicating a client story or message. At Fleishman-Hillard, our corporate team provides a dynamic mix of strategic corporate positioning, media relations, executive communications, internal communications, and crisis counsel, in addition to investor relations and financial communications. An ability to work effectively on multi disciplinary client teams is a must. Our broader team in the office also includes specialists in consumer, healthcare and technology sectors, and the Singapore office works closely with other Fleishman-Hillard offices in the region and around the globe.
- Strong critical thinking and writing skills.
- Experience as a counselor in an agency environment.
- Understanding of effective, research-based message development that compels investors and other audiences to understand a company’s position.
- Broad understanding of general business trends and an ability to consult knowledgeably with senior executives on a broad range of communications topics.
- Advanced knowledge of national news and social media, with well-developed skills in building and maintaining relationships.
- Credentials as a thought leader and enthusiastic practitioner who follow trends and best practices in corporate communications and continuously brings those insights to Fleishman-Hillard and our clients.
