This is an exciting career opportunity for a seasoned public relations counselor who excels at client relationship management and new business development to join a dynamic group doing innovative work for a range of clients.
The Senior Vice President position will have responsibility for client relations, corporate initiatives, and general office management. At Fleishman-Hillard, our Senior Vice Presidents are able to offer expertise in all phases of the public relations field, as well demonstrate excellent management skills, including the ability to coach, motivate, lead and inspire their people.
The Senior Vice President is also responsible for developing and managing a diverse portfolio of business including clients in the technology sectors. Candidate will lead in identifying opportunities for new business, and develop strategies and teams that result in winning this business. Candidate will also be expected to manage projects, balance staff workload, develop and manage budgets, have strong media skills and relationships, and be involved in strategic planning and ensure profitability.
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will be very organized, creative, and have a minimum of 10 -15 years of large agency experience in developing and implementing public relations programs.
- The ideal candidate should excel at business development and client relations, and be excited about the prospect of working in an entrepreneurial environment that is part of a strong regional network.
- Experience in a senior counseling role, including building client relationships, bringing to bear a wide range of agency services and capabilities on client challenges, and directing programs from proposal to completion.
- Strong supervisory and team building skills are required.
- The individual will have a proven track record of planning and executing results-oriented communications programs, demonstrate expertise in developing and implementing compelling proposals and action plans, and be regarded as providing high-quality service to demanding clients.
- Deep familiarity with business, technology and financial media, opinion leaders and business leaders in and around Bangalore a plus.
