FH Ramping Up For SXSW 2013

August 22, 2012

It's no secret that some of our most important and well-loved social and digital technologies, including Twitter in 2007 and Foursquare in 2009, first emerged as breakout stars of the annual South By Southwest Interactive Festival.

The 20th annual SXSW Interactive Festival will take place March 8-12, 2013 in Austin, Texas. From digital to social to mobile and gaming, SXSW Interactive has become the premiere venue to showcase upcoming digital and social media trends, insights and best practices. A central component of SXSW is its range of panels that, in the past, have featured Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, former Vice President Al Gore and many others.

Fleishman-Hillard has submitted seven original panel proposals for SXSW 2013 that highlight key digital work and emerging trends as part of our ongoing efforts to demonstrate our thought leadership in the digital and social space.

We are now looking to our partners, colleagues and friends to vote for the panels, whose topics range from the explosive growth of Pinterest to humans vs. robots to athletes on social media, that most interest them.

Public voting makes up 30% of the final decision, while SXSW staff make up an additional 30% and the SXSW Advisory Board accounts for the final 40%.

Below are the panels that FH digital and social leaders have submitted. Please take a few minutes to review the proposals and cast your vote for the panel(s) that you'd like to see at SXSW in March. Voting ends on August 31, 2012 at midnight. Thanks for your consideration.
