FleishmanHillard to Make Big Data Small at SXSW 2014 With Black Box Lounge

Heading to South by Southwest (SXSW) Interactive? If so, stop by the FleishmanHillard black box Lounge to take a break — and see how to turn big data small. Operating 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily March 7-11, the lounge will feature FleishmanHillard’s intelligent monitoring system, which allows visitors – as well as those keeping up with SXSW news from home – to track the topics, emerging trends, influencers and festival buzz.

This mobile data intelligence system can sift through the vast amounts of data and conversation produced around the festival to surface the people, places and things most talked about and shared on social media. These insights will inform a real-time content studio team, which will create and publish textual, visual and video content to help brands, attendees and more keep up with SXSW. This team will work with lounge partners Thismoment and Outbrain to manage and amplify content on the fly.


Designed to help brands, organizations and individuals analyze big data and identify actionable insights, the system allows attendees to take their real-time analysis experience away from the lounge as they explore Austin. Using interactive screens, visitors will have the opportunity to download and share the information they learn.
