FleishmanHillard Named to ‘Top Companies for Executive Women’ for Seventh Straight Year, Breaks Into the Top 10

March 1, 2016

ST. LOUIS, March 1, 2016 – For the seventh consecutive year, FleishmanHillard has been named to the list of “Top Companies for Female Executives” by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), and is included as one of the top 10 companies recognized. The list honors organizations that promote corporate cultures that champion the advancement of women to the executive level. Rankings take many factors into account, including access to programs and policies that allow for women’s career advancement, female representation at the profit-and-loss and executive levels, gender pay parity and work-life balance. The full list will appear in an upcoming issue of Working Mother magazine.

“At FleishmanHillard, we constantly look for professionals that not only have great talent, but exemplary character as well. We strive to provide these employees with opportunities and programs that give them their best professional experience and a company culture they can be proud of,” said John Saunders, president and CEO. “While it is a great honor to once again be named to this prestigious list, it also serves as inspiration to continue our efforts and aim for even higher standards in the future.”

Although many factors are taken into account to determine the companies named to NAFE’s lists, some of FleishmanHillard’s initiatives that led to this recognition include:

  • Women make up 67 percent of the agency’s global workforce.
  • Women represent half of FleishmanHillard’s corporate executives with profit-and-loss responsibility, with three of these positions appointed in the last year.
  • 72 percent of employees promoted in the U.S. in 2015 were women.
  • Women oversee more than 50 percent of the firm’s global offices and corporate functions and lead three of the firm’s regions: Asia Pacific, U.S. Central and U.S. South.

NAFE, founded in 1972, serves members nationwide with networking, tools and solutions to strengthen and grow their careers and businesses. Working Mother magazine publishes the annual Top Companies and the Women of Excellence lists.
