FleishmanHillard Work for Philips Breathless Choir Campaign Named to Shortlist for 2016 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

CANNES, June 20, 2016 – FleishmanHillard (as part of OneVoice Connect, a consortium of Omnicom agencies), with Philips, has been named to two PR Lions shortlists at the 2016 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity for the Philips Breathless Choir campaign. The campaign is shortlisted in two PR categories: Media Relations and Corporate Communication & Reputation Management.

Breathless Choir was an emotional integrated campaign led by Ogilvy & Mather. The campaign has already won the Pharma Grand Prix and two Gold Health & Wellness Lions, along with several Silver and Bronze Pharma Lions. The project highlighted Philips’s healthtech capabilities, and demonstrated the organization’s commitment to positively impacting people’s lives. With the help of world-renowned choirmaster Gareth Malone and the Philips Simply Go Mini Oxygen Concentrator, Philips brought together 18 people with breathing conditions to form the Breathless Choir. After five days of rehearsals, they performed at the Apollo Theater in New York City. The campaign launched on World COPD Day, and gained more than 15 million views across platforms, had a 20% share rate, and earned 650M+ media impressions.

Cannes Lions is the world’s biggest annual awards show and festival for the creative communications industry. The PR Lions winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on June 21, 2016
