ST. LOUIS, November 17, 2017 — FleishmanHillard (FH) scored a win at this year’s Shorty Social Good Awards for its work on behalf of client Free a Girl. The firm received a Silver Distinction in the Social Justice category for Free a Girl’s “School for Justice” campaign.

“School for Justice” is an inspiring campaign that centered on a law school in India that was created to provide survivors of child prostitution with legal education so that they can fight back against traffickers. The campaign helped to create a conversation about human trafficking and child prostitution, and remove the stigmas these topics have in Indian society.

The Shorty Social Good Awards, now in their second year, are part of the Shorty Awards program. The awards program aims to raise global awareness for the positive impact that brands, agencies and nonprofits can have on society.
