Position Overview and Responsibilities

As an Account Manager in the corporate comms team, you will be responsible for driving media coverage, crafting creative ideas and high quality content, leading projects, supporting new business activities and ensuring the smooth running of the administrative and operational aspects of accounts, particularly within the financial & professional services sector.

A trusted advisor and representative of our corporate practice you will build long-standing relationships with clients and colleagues across the network; provide mentorship for members of the junior team and play an active role in new business across the UK, Europe and globally. Qualifications

  • A background in corporate comms (agency or in-house) with an interest in financial services would be ideal
  • Media relations experience – pitching stories and finding creative angles, writing press releases and byline articles while developing and strengthening relationships with key media contacts.
  • Experience managing tailored features programmes; identifying appropriate opportunities for the client within target media, using existing information or creating new materials to craft and deliver successful pitches.
  • Skilled at creating high quality briefing information for senior client spokespeople and staffing media engagements where appropriate.
  • Experience working across UK and pan-regional accounts.
