Digital & Social Intern (Spring), Charlotte
Position Overview and Responsibilities
FleishmanHillard Charlotte is offering a full-time paid spring internship, providing dynamic, real-life experience and skill development that will help the intern succeed in the digital and social industry.
At FleishmanHillard Charlotte, interns work side-by-side with the digital staff on a wide range of projects in a variety of different industries, including healthcare, technology, consumer and nonprofit. Projects are selected to ensure the intern is able to experience and appreciate the different facets of social media and digital communications work. As part of a structured program, they will learn and assume the basic responsibilities of a junior-level staffer, such as performing research, drafting social media content and reporting on social analytics. Interns may also gain public relations experience through writing media materials, researching influencers and media monitoring. They will have the opportunity to work on special projects and learn community and social media management best practices. Interns are encouraged to complete as many project stages as feasible to develop a sense of ownership and achievement over their work. In keeping with the FleishmanHillard philosophy of enabling people to develop to their full potential, interns who show ability and aptitude are also encouraged, under guided supervision, to take on challenges that stretch and stimulate them.
This is a paid, full-time opportunity, requiring a commitment of at least three months
