Position Overview and Responsibilities
As Head of New Business for FHF you ensure that we consistently bring our new business ‘A’ game by supporting the teams to deliver brilliant thinking, strategy, creativity, content and relationship management to prospects and clients.
As strategic partner to Directors, Senior Advisors and Team Heads you’ll influencing decisions around casting, pitch strategy and approach to ensure that we bring the best of our talent and IP to every opportunity.
You will project manage high value pitches end-to-end, as well as offering ad-hoc strategic or pitch-doctor support to other opportunities. Rolling up your sleeves when necessary, and getting stuck in to help with the heavy lift of pitching must also not be beyond you!
Outside of specific new-business opportunities you will maintain oversight of our new business infrastructure including tracking, reporting and measurement, as well as knowledge management. Holistically you will be responsible for defining the new business approach for the firm and upskilling all consultants in their new business capacity through training, coaching and clarity of best practice.
This position requires a high degree of multi-tasking and stakeholder management. You will need to quickly develop a deep understanding of the expertise across the agency and build trusted relationships with colleagues in London, EMEA and Globally. Key to success will be the ability to empower and inspire brilliance in others, as well as to run a tight ship from an operational perspective.

- Extensive experience working in a top-class international comms agency at senior management level
- Understanding of the breadth of services across the integrated PR & communications service mix
- Senior expertise in one or more PR & Communications specialism
- Excellent influencer with natural authority; able to build strong trusted relationships
- Experience operating in either client facing, planning, new business or creative capacities
- Passion for driving new business and a strong track record in this space
- Highly responsive and organised multitasker, comfortable prioritising across multiple projects
