Graphic Design Intern (Summer), Washington, D.C.
Position Overview and Responsibilities
The Creative Studio at FleishmanHillard in Washington, D.C. is looking to hire a full-time design intern. We’re looking for passionate, innovative, creative thinkers, with strong design aesthetics.
We depend on our interns heavily. As a fully integrated member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of print, digital, interactive and motion projects. You’ll also get involved in the early stages of some of our most exciting and challenging projects.
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Knowledge about design fundamentals and principles
- Motivation and passion
- Ability to work easily in both large team environments, or independently
- Attention to detail
- Prioritization skills
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Be willing to experiment, comfortable trying new things, and not afraid to fail
Other Qualities – not required:
- Motion graphics and video editing (specifically After Effects and/or Final Cut Pro)
- Print production experience
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
