This is a competitive internship programme, which provides an excellent grounding and training in business administration within the media and marketing field. For a three month period, you will learn from working closely with colleagues at different levels within a friendly and team oriented lively environment. If you are considering a career in PR and/or Business Administration or an entry level career in the media industry, this is an excellent entry level opportunity for a confident, enthusiastic and talented individual or individuals to join a growing, buzzing team at an exciting transition point. You will gain a strong grounding in business administration and operational areas such as HR, finance and executive support.
Please note that the three month internship is unpaid. However, successful applicants will receive a small expenses allowance of AED 500 per week.
- Reception and visitor welcome
- Third party supplier liaison - liaising with suppliers such as media monitoring companies, print companies, photographers, media database providers - to act as point of contact for billing and service queries and help ensure smooth service for team
- Accounting support: help finance procedures by scanning and sending third party invoices, creating POs
- Work with team to ensure internal trackers are updated, to show accounts payable and receivable
- Support team with booking couriers, bikes and drivers
- Organise catering for office meetings and coffee for guests
- Work with team to make note of office supplies needed – e.g. tea, coffee, stationary, IT supplies
- Liaison with external parties to organize office maintenance
Support GM and senior visitors to office when needed
