Presentation Designer/Business Development Intern, Boston
Position Overview and Responsibilities
The Content Studio in FleishmanHillard’s Boston office is looking for a passionate and innovative Presentation Designer/Business Development Intern to work alongside our team of talented designers, editors and producers. This is a paid internship opportunity open to any candidate with a strong breadth of design work in their portfolio, who is specifically interested in designing content for new business pitches and presentations.
At FleishmanHillard, you will have the opportunity to join one of the world’s largest global communications firms and work on dynamic creative projects for clients ranging from local startups to major consumer brands and household technology names. The position is primarily focused on design and production of creative, innovative ways to pitch new business. This includes PowerPoint production, web design, video production, animation, etc. The Presentation Designer/Business Development Intern will also touch on other projects in the Content Studio.
- Knowledgeable about design fundamentals and principles
- Interested in new business development within the public relations industry
- Thoroughly experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint) and the Adobe Creative Suite (in particular, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign); able to provide samples of your work
- Passionate about storytelling, visual communication and creating digital experiences
- Highly motivated and able to work easily in both large team environments or independently
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines
- Video production, web design, and animation skills a plus
- Applicants should be currently enrolled in a graphic design or other creative-related program or should be a recent graduate.
