Public Relations Intern, Sacramento

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

The FleishmanHillard Internship Program is now accepting applications for an immediate opening in the Sacramento office. FleishmanHillard Sacramento's primary focus is food, beverage and agribusiness.

While at FleishmanHillard, interns have the opportunity to work with counselors to develop and execute traditional and digital media campaigns; create social media content, write news releases, pitch letters, blog posts and other correspondence; participate in new business opportunities and coordinate events. Applicants should have exceptional writing skills and an ability to manage many simultaneous projects and deadlines. 

Qualifications:

  • Recent college graduates are preferred as this is a full-time internship.
  • Applications are welcomed from students with concentrations in all major areas, but backgrounds in journalism, mass media, digital media, communications, public relations, and radio and television broadcasting are given first consideration.
  • Qualified candidates will have completed at least one relevant PR/marketing internship.
  • This internship is paid.
