Public Relations Graduate Internship, Los Angeles (Winter/Spring 2018)

Position Overview and Responsibilities

We’re looking for talented college graduates to join our SoCal team for a three-month paid internship program. Our internships provide direct exposure to clients and real-life experience across a variety of projects, including brainstorming, research, writing, media monitoring, event coordination, media pitching and problem-solving.

Forget making endless coffee runs, we expect our graduate interns to jump directly into client work, learning the ropes of what it takes to become a PR practitioner. From day one, our interns become integral parts of our team, many of whom get hired on as permanent employees. Opportunities are available across all areas of our business including:

Qualifications
Our ideal candidates will have graduated and completed college coursework in journalism, public relations, communications or related fields. All of our graduate interns are expected to have:

  • Excellent communications and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent research, writing and organization skills
  • Extensive social media experience across multiple platforms
  • An ability to work easily in both large team environments or independently
  • An ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn from our industry-leading team of counselors
  • Prior internship experience at a public relations firm or corporate communications department

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid position for three months, with the opportunity to move into a full-time position at the completion of the program.
