Senior Account Executive, Reputation Management

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

FleishmanHillard’s Reputation Practice Group is looking for a motivated, energetic, self-starter to join our Dallas office. This position affords outstanding opportunity to serve established and emerging business-to-business technology client needs.

The Senior Account Executive plays a pivotal role in developing strategic public relations programs for clients and managing their successful implementation. The successful candidate will be an effective planner, strong writer and media relations practitioner with experience in product launches, executive visibility and thought leadership programs. In addition, the candidate will be creatives, and demonstrate an ability to work within budget and on deadline.

Qualifications:

2 - 4 years’ experience in technology or corporate communications.

Passion for and solid knowledge of technology with the ability to translate complex technical information into easily understood written and verbal communications.

Develop and edit high quality written materials, including press releases, blogs and media pitches

Event planning and project management skills are essential.

Excellent media relations skills (both traditional and social/digital), emphasis on business media. Must have familiarity with technology media.

Experience executing public relations plans within budget.

Strong presentation skills and a desire to contribute to new business proposals.

Ability to solve problems, exercise excellent judgment and think 'outside of the box.'

Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude. Experience working within a complex, highly matrixed organization is a plus.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines without sacrificing quality, maintain good client relationships and deliver outstanding results.
