FleishmanHillard has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our Financial Reporting team at our global headquarters in St. Louis. This is an opportunity to work within a highly-motivated team environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-paced, challenging organization juggling multiple projects under strict deadlines with a high attention to analyzing results and operations. Other responsibilities of the position include:

  • Prepare financial statements and related financial reports in a Sarbanes-Oxley environment.
  • Prepare journal entries; maintain and reconcile detailed ledger accounts for monthly financial close with tight reporting deadlines.
  • Use GAAP and company policies to problem solve and perform a variety of intricate accounting functions.
  • Collect, review and submit the monthly forecast and annual budget.
  • Monitor effectiveness and efficiency of processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Provide analysis and reporting to FleishmanHillard’s parent company.
  • Other ad hoc analysis and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years’ of experience with a degree in Accounting.
  • The ability to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines and apply appropriate judgment to analyzing various business situations.
  • Attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability and a well-defined work ethic.
  • This individual must be a self-starter and highly motivated with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and cultures.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall computer skills.
  • PeopleSoft and Hyperion Financial Management system experience a plus.
  • Ability to take on tasks to completion.
  • Great organization skills are necessary.
