<p>Fleishman-Hillard Manila has an immediate opening for an Account Director to join our thriving office. This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced PR specialist with a passion for technology and consumer related public relations and communications. Candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams to assist Manila clients both locally and regionally with their external public relations and communications activities.</p>
<p>As a strategic counselor, the candidate will act as a regional coordinator for several clients, and manage teams on program execution. Account Directors are expected to manage projects, balance staff workload, develop and manage budgets, have strong media skills and relationships, be involved in strategic planning and ensure profitability. They are involved in regular account planning meetings as well as new business initiatives.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>Successful candidates must be results oriented, have a solid track record of effective media relations, strong writing, strong organization and acute attention to detail.</p>
<p>Additionally, candidates should have:<br />
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of public relations and/or digital communications experience, with an emphasis on media relations, media training, and product public relations and new business.<br />
• The ideal candidate will have a PR agency background, and experience with both B-to-B and B-to-C communications.<br />
• Depth of experience in the technology or consumer practice areas, advanced knowledge of business media and well-developed skills in building and maintaining media relationships.<br />
• Demonstrated experience executing public relations plans and the ability to draft and implement strategic public relations programs within budget.<br />
• Ability to provide strategic counsel and leadership to influence and impact client strategy and project management. Candidate should be a strong strategic thinker and planner, with a proven track record in messaging and positioning.<br />
• Demonstrated success in driving and winning new business, and a passion for securing new client accounts.<br />
• Excellent writing abilities with extensive experience in all forms of corporate and executive communication, from business media news releases to executive talking points.<br />
• Experience with new digital media and social networking tactics and program development.<br />
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.</p>

<p>The San Francisco office has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor with experience in corporate communications, media relations and public affairs to join our dynamic corporate reputation practice. This position provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams and assist global clients with their corporate communications and reputation management.</p>
<p>The Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor plays a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day deliverables for the corporate practice’s account teams, including content creation and oversight as well as project and account management. The ideal candidate will work with senior members of the team to develop and execute integrated communications programs that embrace all areas of corporate communications, including stakeholder engagement, corporate social responsibility, media relations, public affairs and crisis/issues management.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate must be results oriented, have a strong understanding of current trends and best practices in corporate communications and public affairs, and solid experience executing global and regional corporate reputation programs. Additionally, candidates should have:</p>
<p>• Four-six years of experience in corporate communications and/or public affairs.<br />
• Proven expertise managing projects with multiple work streams, applying situational thinking and utilizing team resources effectively to deliver on program objectives.<br />
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing public relations plans, and the ability to draft and implement strategic corporate communications programs within<br />
budget.<br />
• Background executing integrated communications campaigns, including events, web, advertising, relationship marketing and direct mail.<br />
• A strong understanding of corporate digital communications and social media.<br />
• Experience building relationships and working with diverse stakeholders effectively, both internally and externally.<br />
• Superior writing skills with the ability to develop and edit high-quality materials such as communications plans, position papers, fact sheets, news and online media materials, bylined articles, trend analysis summaries, executive correspondence and presentations.<br />
• Proven experience planning and executing a variety of events, including vendor and partner management.<br />
• Proficiency in recognizing and applying regional and statewide industrial, economic and policy trends that may impact current and future clients.<br />
• Knowledge of Bay Area and California public issues and legislative environment.<br />
• Expertise in crisis communications, including ability to provide clear counsel and to implement clear messages in urgent timetable.<br />

<p>Fleishman-Hillard has an immediate opportunity for an experienced communications practitioner with knowledge of and a passion for implementing communication plans for livestock, agriculture, and food clients to join its Houston office as part of the firm’s global food and agribusiness practice.</p>
<p>The Senior Account Executive plays a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day logistics for the account team by driving and implementing public relations strategies for a variety of clients in the agriculture and food industry. Responsibilities include grassroots outreach, issues management, public education programs, events coordination, and national, trade, and online media relations. The majority of the group’s efforts focus on creating credible, unique ways to make agricultural practices and issues relevant to a consumer audience.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be a very organized and creative self-starter, and have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience gained in public relations, journalism or a similar field. Experience specifically related to developing and implementing public relations programs addressing agriculture or food chain issues management is required.</p>
<p>In addition, this individual should have:</p>
<p>• An agricultural background with understanding of agricultural practices, as well as knowledge of consumer communications.<br />
• Agricultural chemicals, biotechnology, livestock, sustainability, issues management or public affairs experience is strongly preferred.<br />
• Versatile, persuasive writing skills and experience developing high-quality written materials, including media communications. A demonstrated ability to communicate scientific ideas in a way that is understandable to the general public is an asset.<br />
• Outstanding verbal and writing skills.<br />
• Ability to work on a wide variety of projects, prioritize work load, consistently meet deadlines, and adapt to changing client needs.<br />
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<br />
• Degree in agriculture, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field.</p>
