<p>The successful candidate will be part of a diverse and growing team that serves a variety of Fortune 500 and mid-cap companies. He or she will have 5-8 years of experience in corporate and financial communications, preferably with a public relations agency, and present a record of winning and growing client relationships. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to help build and serve on teams that work collaboratively to serve clients at many levels of corporate leadership. The candidate’s experience must include development and management of programs targeting specific audiences and successfully communicating a client story or message. In addition, experience in providing crisis counsel, responding to activists, litigation, and government investigations are desirable.</p>

<p>We have an immediate opportunity at our global headquarters office in St. Louis for an experienced communications professional with proven experience in B-to-B communications and integrated marketing program development. This individual will expand the services of the firm’s award-winning communications team that includes individuals with expertise in corporate counsel, B-to-B marketing, internal communications, research, design, and digital communications. He or she also will help to develop and serve clients on a national basis.</p>
<p>This position will be responsible for the day-to-day project management, business development and oversight of cutting-edge integrated communications programs for a variety of clients. He or she will frequently work with account teams from other FH offices and agencies who work in partnership with Fleishman-Hillard.</p>
<p>This individual’s success will be measured by new client wins; client satisfaction; development of successful, high-impact programs; the ability to work as an effective leader and collaborative team member; and the ability to serve as a creative, thoughtful source of current best practices in all aspects B-to-B communications.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>• A minimum of 10 years of integrated marketing communications experience. Previous experience in an agency setting is required.<br />
• Skilled communicator with a deep B-to-B foundation of experience in a broad range of corporate communications, including executive positioning, lead generation, media relations, employee communications, and issues management. Experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability is a plus.<br />
• Current expertise in B-to-B communication for one or more of the following sectors: retail, technology, healthcare, professional services, education, and/or manufacturing is preferable.<br />
• Ability to direct research and interpret and apply the results to develop messages and approaches that convey a company’s value and differentiate it from others in the competitive field.<br />
• Ability to synthesize complex integrated marketing communications aimed at segmented audiences across all disciplines—advertising, direct mail, promotion, employee communications, social media, and public relations.<br />
• Proven ability to lead major client engagements, set priorities, and a willingness to take ownership.<br />
• Possess a high level of energy, excitement, and enthusiasm, as well as vision and creative problem-solving skills.<br />

<p>• review results for offices in accordance with US GAAP including client revenue, P&amp;L and balance sheets for consolidation at corporate<br />
• understand foreign exchange and work to minimize the impact of foreign exchange through hedging and business practices<br />
• review monthly full-year forecasts for all offices and variance analysis to forecasts and budgets and recommend actions<br />
• monitor all intercompany transactions and ensure they are reconciled quarterly and timely payments are made<br />
• prepare and analyze summaries and for supervisor, management and GMs and provide valuable information as to the profitability of the offices and what counselors/management can be doing to grow<br />
• review and analyze time worked, profitability, capacity and utilization<br />
• prepare detailed analysis of accounts receivables and other balance sheet accounts<br />
• prepare management information necessary for profit meetings and overseas trips to locations<br />
• assist management with tools to ensure the offices are achieving their goals and strategize for ways to grow revenue, control expenses, manage profitability and write offs<br />
• field and respond to questions from management, DAS and Omnicom regarding offices results<br />
• test and review quarterly Sarbanes Oxley documentation and ensure that the proper controls are in place to comply</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<p>• Degree in accounting, CPA strongly preferred<br />
• 7-10 years experience in financial accounting and business operations, preferably in a professional services environment<br />
• Highly effective communication and analytical skills<br />
• Strong US GAAP accountant and experience with international accounting<br />
