FleishmanHillard is thrilled to be a finalist in the PRmoment Awards 2022 for our work with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and adam&eveDDB to launch WeThe15, the largest human rights campaign to advance the lives of 1.2bn people with disabilities.
The movement, WeThe15, takes its name from the 15% of the global population who have a disability: the world’s largest marginalised group, forgotten by the inclusivity agenda. For these 1.2 billion people, access to fundamental rights such as healthcare, education and employment is at best limited or non-existent, making it harder for people with disabilities to live, work, thrive or even survive.
The campaign sees the largest-ever coalition of organisations unite behind this cause – 20 in total, including UN Human Rights, UNESCO and the International Disability Alliance, The Valuable 500, Special Olympics – to put people with disabilities at the heart of the diversity, equity and inclusion agenda.
Winners are announced on April 28th during a ceremony at The Park Plaza, London.
