Position Overview and Responsibilities

As an Account Director your role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and managing teams to ensure delivery of activity to a consistently high standard. You will also support the Directors in reviewing and driving forward client strategy, developing plans and spotting opportunities for both organic and new client growth. Finally, you will help to instill and maintain a positive team culture, focused on delivering great work for clients in a positive, proactive environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Exceptional client service - leading on a portfolio of client accounts. This will involve managing delivery, contributing to strategy and utilizing senior counsel where needed.
- Strategy & creative - providing strategic thinking to help client’s stay ahead of issues impacting their business.
- Media relations - pitching stories and finding creative angles, maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, media, online influencers and other relevant third parties.
- Operations & administration - overseeing client budget development, tracking, billing and communications.
- Growth - developing new business through networking and lead generation, responding to external briefs and cross-practice opportunities, spotting opportunities for organic growth, and leading proposals and pitches.
- Integration - developing integrated campaigns, working with media and digital specialists across the business while leading on activations. Contribute to office, global and regional network initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- People - inspiring, mentoring and motivating junior team members to build a highly engaged team. Providing continuous feedback; taking every opportunity to be inclusive, provide guidance, counsel and support to colleagues.
