Commercial Finance Business Partner, London

Position Overview and Responsibilities

Reporting directly in to a Senior Business Partner you will be a member of the London Commercial Finance Team supporting across a range of practice areas.

Main Responsibilities Include

  • Supporting Project Managers on the creation of pricing for new budgets with existing clients
  • Reviewing small client Scope of Work (SOW) / budgets
  • Initiate intercompany revenue sharing agreements
  • Advising teams on best approach to fees when managing third parties
  • Uploading of all contracts/SOWs/NDAs/Rate Cards and other relevant paperwork to PeopleSoft for your practices
  • Regularly meet with Project Managers to update revenue forecasts. Assess risks therein and highlight areas of concern for further discussion with the Senior Business Partner
  • Meet with Project Managers on a monthly basis to go through WIP and flag any concerns re. over servicing
  • Managing monthly reconciliation of revenue recognised to billed/accrued revenue
  • Quarterly SOX support. Provide SOX compliant paperwork to support our quarterly revenue recognition SOX audit
  • Providing regular training to project managers on worksheets to ensure that they have the knowledge to manage the commercials of their clients
  • Liaising with AAS for regular status updates on overdue invoices and provide updates for working capital reporting
