Copywriting Intern, Dallas (Fall 2020)
Position Overview and Responsibilities
FleishmanHillard Dallas is hiring an intern copywriter. We’re looking for a conceptual thinker, someone who can translate an insight into an idea, and an idea into an execution. Candidates should be handy in a brainstorm, persuasive and engaging in 140 characters and in 1,000 words, pop culture literate, and fluent in all major social platforms. Immaculate spelling and excellent grammar are appreciated.
You’ll work on a variety of clients, in fields ranging from telecom to automotive, healthcare to food and beverage — in media both traditional and digital.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about communications, eager to learn and as committed to doing great work as we are. The FleishmanHillard experience provides the opportunity to grow personally and professionally through exposure to client service and the inner workings of an international communications firm.
Qualified candidates will be recent graduates, available to work at least 37.5 hours a week. Basic job requirements for interns include excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, and desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Interns have the opportunity to be a part of the account staff teams and assist with media campaigns, developing media materials, conducting account research, and other account-related activities. All candidates must also exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.
The internship is a paid, full-time position requiring a commitment of at least at least the end of the year.
We will be remote for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19. Thus, candidates should be willing to relocate to the office they are hired into upon 3-6 months of their start date, but immediate relocation upon acceptance of an internship offer is not required.
