Graphic Designer and Video Editor Graduate Intern, New York

The Opportunity

FleishmanHillard, one of the world’s leading communications agencies, is looking for a full-time graduate intern in graphic design, video editing and video production to work with our in-house video team to create digital content and video. This person will be located in the NY office. FleishmanHillard, globally headquartered in St. Louis, is one of the largest integrated communications companies in the world. Responsibilities

We are seeking a graphic designer and video editor to join our New York production team full time. The video editor and graphic designer will be responsible for creating tutorial content, video editing, social media content as well as 3D video animation, and film production. Candidate must have the ability to work independently and meet client deadlines with fine attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • A degree in film or media production and experience working for a media company.
  • Must be able to handle all aspects of post-production including editing, animation, design, social media, and all post-production creative.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Candidate must have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe After Effects
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Photoshop
  • Final Cut Pro 7
  • Compressor
  • PluralEyes
  • Knowledge in compression rates, video and audio codecs, frame rates, standard dimensions and digital and analog formats.
  • HTML5 knowledge for both desktop and mobile is required. 
  • Knowledge in Cinema 4D and DSLR professional video and still cameras, lighting, and audio recording a plus.
