Position Overview and Responsibilities

As specialists within the healthcare sector the team support corporates, brands, academic institutes, advocates and policy stakeholders communicate and be heard in today’s hyper-connected world.
The team members are experts at driving engagement by designing and bringing to life healthcare communications programs that are informed by insight and data-led strategy. Inspired by developing communications that improve access and uptake of therapeutic and diagnostic innovations and approaches, linked directly to health outcomes.
Our client portfolio is diverse, made up of blockbuster drugs and top-10 global pharma brands in various disciplines and numerous therapeutic areas.
As a senior account executive, you will have the opportunity to support a variety of leading global pharma clients. Working on several potentially blockbuster drugs you will support the team across a range of therapy areas and be involved in a variety of campaigns, from brand-building and reputation management, patient advocacy, integrated digital services, product launches and lifecycle comms to internal communications and change management.
While no two days are ever the same, you’ll primarily be involved in:
- Working with the senior team to develop strategic client programs and proposals
- Supporting the team in the coordination of hub team activity; sharing account information and guidance with other team members in the wider network offices, as well as managing their timely feedback into hub team activities and reports
- Media relations, pitching stories and finding creative angles, writing press releases and byline articles while developing and strengthening relationships with key media contacts
- Reporting and providing analysis on the results of online/offline activities
- Contributing to the management of client budgets; tracking, billing and communications
- Supporting and contributing to the identification of organic growth and new business opportunities
- Supporting our global healthcare specialists in London, globally and across the wider Omnicom network
