Position Overview and Responsibilities
Interns will work closely with FleishmanHillard account staff to execute public relations programs on behalf of local, national and international clients. We look for candidates who have excellent written and oral communications skills, an innate curiosity, and desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Interns have the opportunity to participate in media campaigns as an integral member of account staff teams, gain an understanding of what it’s like to work in an elite international communications agency and build upon basic skills, like:
- specialized writing for news releases, media advisories, pitch letters, other media materials
- working with print and electronic media
- event coordination
- project coordination and execution
- account management and program development skills

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited college with a focus in journalism, public relations, communications, English or any other writing-focused major. Ideal candidates will be available full-time Monday through Friday. Previous internship experience, especially with an agency preferred, but not required.
