FleishmanHillard, a leading global communications firm, has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive to join our growing Charlotte office. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a digital practitioner to execute strategies on behalf of a range of clients that span the healthcare, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and retail industries.  Driven by great work, passionate about their city, and smart in their approach, FHNC is home to 30+ of the area’s most talented traditional and social communicators. Responsibilities Include:

§ Create, manage and execute day-to-day digital deliverables, including social media content creation and oversight as well as project management

§ Help shape client stories and messages in creative and compelling ways

§ Work with team and account leads to develop digital strategies and social media content

§ Play a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day activities for the team, including working with senior members of the team to help coordinate projects and client deliverables

§ Provide consumer and category insights and expertise to assist in the development of marketing materials

§ Managing timelines and roadmaps for client projects

§ Have the ability to learn multiple brand voices and vernacular to articulate through social and digital content

§ Owning the management and upkeep of our social community management process, including organizing social calendars, identifying opportunities to engage on behalf of our client, and working with the team to schedule and publish social content.

§ Developing and presenting ideas to clients

§ Working with multiple team members and client stakeholders

§ Be able to also play the role of a project manager/operations when needed to keep projects on time.


§ 4-7 years of experience creating and executing digital content for a variety of clients. Agency experience is preferred but not required.

§ Excellent writing and editing skills, with high attention to detail.

§ Ability to take both client and leadership direction to create actionable social/digital content that ladders up to overall goals and business objectives

§ Proven ability to prioritize, be assertive, self-starting and a willingness to take ownership is essential to success. This translates to strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to effectively stay motivated as needs and changes arise.

§ Willingness to be scrappy – roll up your sleeves and get work done no matter the task and if you don’t know how to do it you pride yourself in figuring out how to do it.

§ Energetic, self-starter and resourceful problem solver – gets things moving and keeps them on track. High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.

§ Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
