Position Overview and Responsibilities

Due to several recent wins, we are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join our team of Specialists. You’ll be a digital marketing professional with experience gained either in an agency or in-house, with proven experience of working on successful SEO projects.
As our Senior Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll sit within our fast-growing insight and planning team alongside strategists, analysts and a paid media manager. Specialist is a highly creative environment where digital marketers work alongside writers, designers and videographers, so you will see your recommendations come to life. Clients range from B2B to finance to consumer brands, and as we’re part of the Fleishman Hillard network, this includes global brands that smaller agencies might not typically get to work with.
The role will be varied, so you’ll need to be flexible and willing to learn new things as we adapt to market needs. Key responsibilities include campaign planning, research and reporting with a particular focus on SEO projects involving search research, SEO strategy and SEO reporting. Keeping on top of your game, you’ll recommend how to optimise existing content and sites, and which new content we should produce to meet search needs. You’ll also work closely with our digital development team to ensure websites are technically optimised.
- Proven experience of working on projects that have led to increased search rankings, CTR and website engagement
- Knowledge about link-building strategies
- Advanced use of tools including Google Analytics, SEMRush, and Moz (or similar) to create SEO strategies
- Competitive analysis to find content gaps and keyword opportunities
- Creation of SEO and digital marketing reports with insights and strategic recommendations
- Ability to see the bigger picture — how SEO fits into wider marketing strategy
- Experience gathering briefs and presenting to clients
- Experience of writing search optimised content is desirable
- Excel skills (eg. VLookups and pivot tables) are also desirable.
