Position Overview and Responsibilities: 

FleishmanHillard’s Creative team harnesses the collective power of creative, social, public relations and strategic marketing to produce business-changing ideas, magnetic stories and award-winning communications. Our new team member will be highly skilled, someone who is great at managing video projects, someone who can handle a wide variety of projects across a global network of creatives. We’re not just looking for production expertise, however. We want someone who will take a wide-eyed approach, not a formulaic one, to each project and offer creative thinking and innovative ways to make each assignment better. We want attention to details balanced with fresh thinking. Our new video producer will also be someone who can take ownership of a project, shepherding it from the idea stage through the post-production process, collaborating and managing internal and external team members to deliver on time and on budget. Responsibilities include: 

  • Demonstrated ability in pre-production planning, scripting, scheduling and identifying distribution for video content across multiple platforms

  • A conceptual, innovative and creative storyteller

  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet time sensitive deadlines simultaneously

  • Well-versed in existing and emerging social media platforms, as well as how people consume digital content

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with high-level individuals and organizations

  • Ability to evaluate and execute post-production elements, including editing, graphics, color correcting and music

  • Coordinating tasks with writers, directors, managers, actors, and other personnel throughout the production process

  • Developing budgets and timeline for all aspects of video, audio and motion graphics in collaboration with clients, production partners and vendors

  • Keep up to date on the latest trends and technology for producing videos, audio and motion graphics


  • 5 to 8 years of experience in nonlinear video production

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in communications, video/audio production, or related multimedia

  • Must feel comfortable overseeing the project from the pre-production stage through post-production, including weighing in on production elements, reviewing edits, and providing feedback throughout the process

  • Must understand how to build budgets and creatively manage a project within that budget

  • Deep understanding of the necessary steps in video production to tell a compelling story

  • Familiar with the types of videos that are effective in online and social media channels

  • Proficient in the operation and advanced knowledge in professional video and photo equipment

  • Ability to juggle a wide variety of projects and work with varying production styles

  • Superior client service skills and the ability to function well within a team environment

  • Availability to work occasional evenings/weekends, if necessary, to meet a deadline
