When the pandemic put AEW’s weekly national tour on hold just five months after its debut, keeping fans out of the stands, we flexed every strategic, creative and innovative muscle we had to keep AEW top of mind.

We pivoted to keep their flagship show AEW: Dynamite, at the top of ratings every Wednesday. Infiltrated the mainstream across local, national and global media. Developed key COVID-19 messaging and communications. Planned and facilitated multiple virtual media briefings with global media and press conferences. Helped develop an epic reenactment idea to promote AEW’s charitable giving during the holidays. And kept coverage steady as AEW gradually brought back live television audiences in Jacksonville, Florida, before returning to weekly shows on the road.

Not only did we help position AEW at the epicenter of pop culture, sports and entertainment, but AEW’s momentum and ratings success led to an expanded partnership with WarnerMedia (now Warner Bros. Discovery) to include a second television show (AEW: Rampage) as part of an extended multiyear agreement. Global reach and accessibility also expanded. AEW is now available for viewing in 130 countries. AEW regularly permeates pop culture and the mainstream — from ESPN, Esquire and The Wall Street Journal to Complex, BBC, GQ, Variety and more.
