Rally a new generation of innovators to rally the industry
We knew Emerson needed more than their own voice to create a compelling — and authentic — STEM story that would resonate with students and potential employees. So, in year one of this multi-year effort, we partnered with self-proclaimed “science nerd” and influencer Hank Green. Hank helped us share Emerson’s STEM message on a national media tour by highlighting results from Emerson’s original STEM perceptions survey, which revealed that most people considered STEM fields too difficult to pursue, and that there wasn’t a strong understanding of career options.
Emerson and Hank also created original content showcasing the paths that STEM makes possible and featured the videos on a dedicated Emerson.com/WeLoveSTEM hub. The following year, we added to that hub with custom videos demonstrating experiments like the Freezeoff.
