Join forces with relevant and like-minded organizations and create a high-flying alliance for AAPF.

Our True MOSAIC DE&I Communications practice and pro bono FH4Inclusion program teamed up to help elevate AAPF’s voice and presence as advocates against social injustice through traditional and social media, a website refresh, and several key partnerships. We coordinated a media event with the WNBA, dedicating the 2020 season to honoring Black women victims of police brutality. And we supported a press conference with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, aiding in the process to repeal U.S. federal laws prohibiting diversity training.

We also secured top-tier interviews for AAPF Executive Director Dr. Kimberlé Crenshaw and helped optimize an exclusive edition of Gucci’s Chime for Change Zine, where Dr. Crenshaw became the first guest editor.

In honor of AAPF, FH4Inclusion hosted its first-ever Hour of Service.

the impact

AAPF got the stage it needed to own their campaign and spotlight Black women’s rights.

The WNBA partnership helped tie AAPF to the #SayHerName campaign. And the work with NAACP drove game-changing awareness around government-level issues that opposed Dr. Kimberlé Crenshaw’s Critical Race Theory — a framework examining society and culture in relation to race, law and power in the U.S. All in all, the collaborations and exposure — which included more than 400 articles — strengthened AAPF’s societal presence and mission to dismantle structural inequity.
